C's (early) Birthday Present

When we were in Speyer Germany in October 2011, we saw a painting in the hotel that Carol liked a lot.  Don't know why, but we didn't buy  it at the time.  Some months later I tracked down the artist and finally on Jan 29th, it arrived.  As you see, Carol was surprised.  The artist , Vladmir Smahtin did a fine job of getting it here before C's birthday.
